Quarterly reportable disease reports available by db — last modified 2010-08-31
A summary of selected communicable diseases reported to public health officials each quarter is available through this site from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Data for Cleveland (Department of Public Health) and Shaker Heights (Health Department) are included in the tables. The tables include the disease, case counts reported for the quarter and year to date (YTD), and the median counts for the same quarter and YTD for 2005-2009. The median, or 50th percentile, is preferred since it 50% of the values (case counts) are either above or below this measure, making is a better measure than the mean or average when the case counts differ widely across years.
