Kid, Family, and Teacher Friendly Web Sites on Children’s Health Issues
Our goal is to provide children, parents and educators with a quick reference of useful and screened web sites that teach kids good health habits, answers questions in an easily read manner, and makes learning about good health fun.
We have identified non-subscription sites among federally or state funded, non-profit charitable organizations and those affiliated with academic centers.

The Whole Child
In English and Spanish. A extensive site developed by the Public Broadcasting System and the Department of Education, it is the PBS series on child development topics ranging from birth to age five. Main sections are:

This is an OUTSTANDING resource for new parents and those that need questions answered. Much of the advice on children is timeless, often applicable to children of all ages. (Sometimes, dealing with a teen is like dealing with a younger child. This site provides good advice, well written and easy to understand and apply.
