PRAMS: Pregnancy Risk Monitoring System

The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS is a population-based survey that asks about maternal behaviors and experiences before, during, and after a woman’s pregnancy and during the early infancy of her child. PRAMS was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 1987. Ohio has participated in PRAMS since April 1999.
